What Does a Subwoofer Do?
Standard PA speakers reproduce frequencies from roughly 80Hz upward — voices, guitars, most musical instruments. But kick drums, bass guitars, synthesiser bass, and the low-end weight of EDM and hip-hop music live below 80Hz. A subwoofer reproduces these low frequencies with physical impact — the chest-thump of a kick drum, the room-filling weight of a bass drop.
Without subwoofers, music sounds thin and top-heavy. With them, sound feels as much as you hear it.

End-Fire / Cardioid Subwoofer Arrays
An advanced configuration where multiple subwoofers are arranged and timed to project bass forward while cancelling it backward — dramatically reducing stage wash and low-end feedback. Ideal for outdoor concerts and events with sensitive monitoring requirements.

Noise limits: Malaysian local councils (DBKL, MBPJ, MBSA, etc.) impose noise ordinances for outdoor events. High-power subwoofer arrays in residential areas require careful level management. Outdoor bass propagation: Bass travels further outdoors than indoors — it can disturb neighbouring areas if not managed carefully. Our engineers use frequency-specific limiting and directional sub configurations (cardioid arrays) for events in sensitive locations.
