Ground Stack vs Flown Line Array
Ground stacked: Boxes stacked on subwoofers at ground level. Faster to set up, no rigging required, suitable when ceiling height or truss isn’t available. Works well for medium outdoor events.
Flown (suspended): Boxes hung from truss towers or venue rigging points. Superior audio performance — true line array directional control only works correctly when the array is elevated. Required for best results in large venues.
